Production Management:
- System Sizing Calculations: Perform accurate equipment sizing, tray fill, cable sizing, and voltage drop analysis.
- Bill of Materials (BOM): Develop detailed BOMs based on system specifications.
Delivery Management:
- Design Evaluation: Assess photovoltaic engineering designs using AutoCAD, including site layouts, blueprints, array configurations, and electrical diagrams.
- Efficiency Enhancement: Identify design improvements for better performance and energy output.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain records of evaluations, revisions, and generate reports for seamless project execution.
Team Mentorship:
- Guidance & Training: Train junior team members on best practices, software usage, and industry standards.
- Performance Management: Evaluate team performance, provide feedback, and implement improvements.
- Knowledge Sharing: Foster collaboration and knowledge exchange within the team.
- Goal Alignment: Ensure alignment with company and project objectives.
Project Oversight:
- Quality Assurance: Review and validate design plans to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Timeline Management: Track project progress, identify delays, and implement solutions to keep projects on schedule.
Requirements:
- Strong 2D AutoCAD skills (layer management, XREFs).
- Knowledge of photovoltaic system design and optimization.
- Basic drafting principles understanding.
- Strong math skills.
- Proficient in English communication (verbal & written).
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents.
Qualifications:
- Diploma/Bachelor’s in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil).
Experience:
- 1+ year in CAD & engineering services.
- 0.5 – 1 year in US solar design (preferred).
Competencies:
- Familiarity with US solar design standards.
- Knowledge of NEC codes & local electrical/building regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Experience collaborating with external clients.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Job Details:
