Position Overview: The Role

We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Quality Laboratory Services Professional to join our team in Bangalore. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for implementing and conducting electrical tests on High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) switchgear and protection systems. You will manage test schedules, coordinate with production supervisors and external vendors, and ensure all laboratory equipment is properly maintained and calibrated. This role is critical for upholding our high standards of product quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and conduct electrical tests on manufactured products as per applicable industry standards.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed test reports for all completed tests.
  • Coordinate with production supervisors to ensure on-time testing and delivery schedules are met.
  • Manage the on-time maintenance and calibration of all monitoring and measuring equipment.
  • Coordinate with internal and external customers during product inspections and collect feedback.
  • Ensure the full implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) within the lab.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education & Experience:
    • A B.E. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with 2+ years of experience.OR
    • A Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with 4+ years of experience.
  • Technical Skills:
    • A deep understanding of test systems with a background in LV/HV switchgear.
    • Experience in electrical switchyard component testing.
    • Knowledge of handling PLC systems.
    • Experience with protection relay testing through software is an added advantage.
  • Professional Attributes:
    • Excellent collaboration and communication skills in English.
    • A strong commitment to safety and quality.
