Position Overview: The Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. This is a critical technical role where you will be responsible for the end-to-end design and development of electrical circuits and PCB layouts for our rack Power Distribution Unit (rPDU) products. You will be involved in all aspects of the product lifecycle, from concept and schematic creation to prototype bring-up and debugging. The ideal candidate will have deep, hands-on experience in mixed-signal electronics design with embedded controllers and proficiency with Cadence for schematics and PCB layout.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical circuits and PCB layouts for rPDU products.
- Create technical documentation, including block diagrams (Visio) and schematics (Cadence).
- Bring up and debug electronics PCB prototypes that consist of mixed-signal electronics.
- Address and resolve safety, noise, and immunity (EMI/EMC) issues.
- Implement power metering, environmental sensing (temperature, humidity), and protection circuits.
- Design, develop, and debug communication hardware related to I2C, CAN, SPI, RS232, etc.
- Collaborate with Mechanical, Firmware, Compliance, and Manufacturing engineers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: A degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in mixed-signal electronics design with embedded controllers.
- Technical Skills:
- Sub-circuit level design, development, and testing expertise.
- Proficiency with design tools like Cadence for schematics/PCB and Visio.
- Experience with instrumentation for mixed-signal and power measurements.
- Nice to Have: Knowledge of worldwide compliance (EMC, safety), data center concepts, NFPA 70E, and basic coding skills (C/Python).
