Position Overview: The Role
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Pharmacist to join our team in T Nagar, Chennai. In this role, you will be responsible for compounding and dispensing medications, monitoring customer drug therapies, and providing essential counseling on medication usage and potential side effects. You will also contribute to our wellness mission by conducting health screenings. This is a full-time, permanent position, and we have a preference for female candidates.

Key Responsibilities
- Compound and dispense medications accurately, as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor customers’ drug therapies, advise on interventions, and inform them of potential side effects.
- Instruct customers on how and when to take their prescribed medications.
- Conduct health and wellness screenings, such as taking blood pressure and checking blood sugar levels.
- Keep accurate and confidential customer records.
- Adhere to all legal rules, regulations, and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharma) or Pharmacology is required.
- License: Must hold a valid license to practice as a pharmacist.
- Experience: 0 to 2 years of proven experience as a pharmacist.
- Knowledge:
- A detailed understanding of dosage requirements, chemical compounds, and pharmaceutical brands.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and pharmacy software (e.g., MEDITECH, Mediware).
- Attributes: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, great organizational skills, and a strong commitment to patient care.
