Facilities & Maintenance Manager – Key Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee building and facilities maintenance (Reliability, Performance, Cost).
- Maintain and troubleshoot automation systems (PLC, SCADA, HMI, VFDs, Field Sensors).
- Handle Material Handling Equipment (MHEs) like conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, X-ray machines, and control cabinets.
- Develop and implement Preventive Maintenance (PM) routines and train technicians.
- Manage vendor AMCs and service levels for equipment maintenance.
- Coordinate with Procurement for material purchases.
- Identify, stock, and manage spare parts.
- Analyze and provide feedback on equipment performance.
- Manage daily operational issues, set priorities, and organize work schedules.
Team & Safety Management:
- Lead a team of maintenance technicians and third-party service providers.
- Set goals, organize staff planning, and ensure proper training.
- Enforce Amazon Safety Policies and collaborate with Safety teams.
- Maintain housekeeping standards (5S) at the facility.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support Engineering for new equipment installations.
- Provide immediate technical guidance during critical events.
- Drive innovation and offer creative problem-solving.
