Position Overview: The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Associate Analyst to join our Loans Operation team in Ghansoli, Mumbai. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a recent graduate to build a career in financial services. You will be responsible for the day-to-day processing of loan transactions, including preparing and reviewing documentation, booking cash transactions, and performing reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have a foundational knowledge of loan processes and Investment Banking (CLM).

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and process loan documentation with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Handle day-to-day loan transactional processing, including booking cash transactions and making payments.
  • Perform regular reconciliations and interact with counterparties regarding positions and outstanding balances.
  • Support a diverse array of financial products and services with a strong focus on risk and control.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to loan documentation and processing.
  • Ensure all activities comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in loan operations or financial services.
  • Mandatory Skills: A foundational understanding of Investment Banking (CLM).
  • Knowledge:
    • Basic knowledge of loan processes, systems, and tools.
    • An awareness of risk types, policies, and control measures.
  • Attributes: Strong communication and analytical skills, ethical, accountable, and results-oriented.
