Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain core IDE features and extensions
- Implement AI-powered coding assistance features
- Optimize performance and reliability of the IDE platform
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate new generative AI capabilities
- Debug and resolve technical issues
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js
- Experience with VS Code extension development
- Familiarity with modern software development practices and tools
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts and integration
- Experience with Git and version control
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Electron framework
- Knowledge of language servers and LSP
- Background in IDE or developer tools development
- Familiarity with large language models and AI APIs
- Open-source contribution experience
