As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of machines and equipment by performing breakdown, preventive, and predictive maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Machine Maintenance: Perform breakdown, preventive, and predictive maintenance to keep equipment running efficiently.
- Scheduled Maintenance: Adhere to the preventive maintenance (PM) schedule for all machines and equipment.
- Spares Management: Ensure the availability and proper management of spare parts.
- Documentation & Records: Maintain updated documents such as PM checklists, history cards, and maintenance requests in line with QMS (Quality Management System) requirements.
- ISO & EHS Compliance: Follow and practice EMS – ISO 14001 and EHSMS – ISO 45001 standards.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Handle machine breakdowns and perform maintenance on:
- Auto cut and crimp machines
- Molding machines
- Utility systems (DG, Compressor, Dryers, Goods Lifts, etc.)
- All types of electrical problems in machinery and equipment at BHP
- Waste & Safety Control:
- Hazardous waste disposal management – Segregate waste according to standards.
- Environmental & Safety Improvements – Participate in Environmental Management Plans (EMPs) and ensure safety compliance.
- Optimize resource usage (power, compressed air, etc.) to reduce environmental impact.
