Position Overview: The Role

We are seeking a strategic and data-driven People Programs Specialist to join our Talent Engagement team in either Bangalore or Hyderabad. In this role, you will be a subject matter expert, responsible for building and executing the go-to-market strategy to attract the best early-career talent to Google. You will design and implement robust campus outreach programs for new graduates, interns, and apprentices. This is a high-impact position that requires strong program management skills, the ability to generate insights from data, and a passion for building relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert on your assigned skill sets, providing insights to build outreach strategies for attracting top talent.
  • Understand the competitive landscape for early-career talent and design a robust campus program for Google India.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (Recruiting, HR, Product Leaders) and external partners (university leaders).
  • Conduct in-person and virtual outreach events, and perform ongoing data analysis to track the impact of events on recruiting goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in program or project management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience handling high-impact, large-scale programs.
  • Proven ability to use data to generate insights and translate them into actionable operational plans.
  • Excellent problem-solving, active listening, and critical thinking skills.
