Position Overview: The Program
North Western Railway invites online applications for the engagement of Act Apprentices for the year 2025-26. This is a massive recruitment drive with 2162 slots available for imparting training in designated trades at various workshops and units across the NWR jurisdiction, including Ajmer, Bikaner, Jaipur, and Jodhpur. The selection will be based on merit, determined by the marks obtained in Matriculation (10th) and the relevant ITI trade.

Eligibility & Selection Criteria
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
- Technical Qualification: Must possess a National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the notified trade, issued by NCVT/SCVT.
- Age Limit: The candidate must be between 15 and 24 years of age as of November 2, 2025. (Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government norms).
Selection Process
- The selection will be based on a merit list.
- The merit list will be prepared based on the simple average of the percentage of marks obtained in both Matriculation (with a minimum of 50% marks) and the ITI trade.
- No written exam or interview will be conducted.
