📋 Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high-tech SMT equipment: Panasonic NPM-D3, SPI (Parmi & Kohyoung), DEK-Printer, AOI, Reflow, router, and more.
- Possess fundamental knowledge of the SMT process and essential electrical concepts.
- Interpret and work from detailed electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Oversee shift operations: maintain logbooks, carry out handover processes, and monitor spare part availability.
- Analyze downtime and monitor OEE failures, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Control and document spare parts inventory as per ISO / TPM standards.
- Manage model changeover activities on the SMT floor.
- Troubleshoot equipment by reading machine reports and applying analytic skills to identify and resolve issues.
- Participate in 6s, TPM, and other advanced manufacturing practices.
- Oversee new equipment installation, setup, commissioning, and production trials.
- Deploy engineering manpower across shifts effectively.
- Develop and implement maintenance systems (breakdown, preventive, spare procurement) specifically for SMT operations.
- Ensure all maintenance record-keeping adheres to quality management standards.
- Collaborate with suppliers and service providers to ensure timely delivery and service.
🎓 Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Diploma in Electronics/Telecommunication OR B.Tech/B.E. in any specialization.
- Experience: 3–6 years in SMT maintenance.
- Technical Skills:
- SMT processes, SMT maintenance
- Pick-and-place operations
- Reflow soldering, wave soldering
- Knowledge of AOI, printer maintenance, mounting
- Troubleshooting skills for Fuji and similar equipment
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, analytical thinking, and documentation
